Clay County announces the first 18 hole Frisbee disc golf course opened in February 2009 at Ronnie VanZant Memorial Park. With well over 5300 feet of par three holes, amateur to professional golfers will enjoy the beauty of this beautiful park.
This course was made possible by the Major community sponsorship made available by JADA, the Jacksonville Auto Dealer Association, and additional sponsors throughout Clay County Florida.
In addition to the 18 hole Frisbee golf course, Ronnie VanZant Memorial Park offers a fishing pond, baseball field, multi-purpose fields, volleyball sand pit, several tennis courts, several basketball courts, 8 pavilions with outdoor grills, 2 indoor bathrooms, children’s playground area, nature walking trail and offers ample parking.
The park hours are from sunrise to sundown. No alcohol allowed in this park and pavilion reservations can be made by calling the Clay County Park and Recreation office at 904 269 6378.
